Expand your nominal solution to the tank problem to create a data base for use with CARPET. We have made a decision that we will design for a fixed capacity of 200 lb, and will use D & t as design variables. Reasonable constraints will be placed on H; say 24 in.<= H<= 48 in.
NOTE: Putting 2 constraints on H will require you to print out H in two columns.
The plots should show clearly
1. the design space and the constraint lines
2. hatch marks to indicate the feasible region
3. the "best" solution, marked on the plot
4. the two nominal solutions from Homework#1
marked on the plot
The data base printout should be marked to indicate
1. the best solution
2. the two nominal solutions from Homework#1
