Problem Statement
Solve the 1 degree of freedom problem for the
forced vibration of a single mass/damper/spring system.
DO NOT destroy your Problem 5 program)
Use an input file which allows you
to change values of:
a) the stiffness coefficient
b) the weight of the mass
c) the damping factor
d) frequency and amplitude of the sinusoidal forcing function P(t)
acting directly on the mass.
e) the time span
Determine steady state values of Magnification factor (kX/P)
vs frequency ratio given below.
