Objective

Create a Range Payload plot for the aircraft given by the configuration file below:

Requirements

  1. Add a take-off routine for total runway requirement over a 35 foot obstacle
  2. Add a landing routine for total runway requirement over a 50 foot obstacle
  3. Add a service ceiling routine: use GTOW (i.e.,W0)
  4. Keep all of the configuration variables fixed except W0 which

  5. must be changed for ranges larger than the design range.
  6. Vary only Mcr and Rcr to determine Wpay for ranges smaller than the design range.

  7. All other mission constraints are fixed.
  8. The output file should contain the variables shown as a minimum.
  9. Determine sufficient results to be able to plot a Payload/Range plot.
  10. Create a separate output file to add the output range and payload values as they are determined.
Note: The design payload should be Wpay = 2300 lb (approx) and Mcr = 0.64 (approx)

Submit

  1. Range/Payload plot which show calculated points.
  2. All input and output files at MaxPay, MinPay, Rcr = 2500 nm.
  3. "Mission" copies for MaxPay, MinPay, Rcr = 2500 nm.
  4. Your source code
