Aditya Ramamoorthy received his B. Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1999 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2002 and 2005 respectively. He was a systems engineer at Biomorphic VLSI Inc. till 2001. From 2005 to 2006 he was with the data storage signal processing group at Marvell Semiconductor Inc. Since, Fall 2006 he has been an assistant professor in the ECE department at Iowa State University.  His research interests are in the areas of network information theory, channel coding and signal processing for nanotechnology. He is has been serving as an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Communications since Nov. 2011. He is the recipient of the NSF CAREER award in 2012, and the Harpole-Pentair professorship in 2009 and 2010.
